Home Office: Permanent list saves trips to office supply store
A home office as well as any other office is in constant need of replenishment. Printer paper, printer ink, light bulbs, envelopes and batteries will need to be purchased on an ongoing basis. How many times have you been at the office supply store knowing that you need printer ink for example, and you cannot remember which cartridge is the right one?
Detailed information on these items should be at your fingertips in an instant. Wasted trips should be a thing of the past. Putting off an important report or paying a bill late is unacceptable just because you forgot to buy supplies.
This issue is easily remedied. Record the information in your cell phone. Carry a list in your bag or billfold. The room required is very minimal and the convenience would be extremely valuable. Another option is to store the list in the glove compartment of your car. Just remember to update the list as soon as you replace or add electronics to the office.
