Home office: The multi-tasking room
How many hats does your home office wear? Since many home offices are almost an afterthought multiple uses are assigned to the space.
A home office is primarily used to store paper. At some point nearly every piece of paper that enters the front door will end up there.
A home office provides a home for the family’s primary computer. Bills get paid, homework gets done and plans are made there.
A home office provides a spare bed for visitors. Murphy beds are not an option for most people so a blow up mattress is tucked between the desk and other office equipment.
A home office is one place that privacy is available. Since work gets done there most will avoid it.
