Home Sweet Home Office

Not much work has gotten done tonight in my home office. The television is on and I’m sure that you have been watching the same things I have. Yes - the back and forth discussions of the $700 billion bail out. I am determined that I will not be depressed.

I was doing quite well – that is until my laptop began acting up. For some strange reason something as simple as saving a file is an extreme sport. I have growled, hit my fist on my desk and sighed but nothing speeds it up. Finally I was able to save my .doc file – now I am afraid to write anything else. Maybe my desktop will treat me better.

This seems to be one of those days in other areas as well. While gathering information for a Worker’s Comp report I found a mistake on my first quarter federal payroll report. I searched and searched until I found where I went wrong. I found my answer so now I get to file amended reports. ARG!!!

The more I try get done the worse it gets. Thankfully all of my files both digital and paper are contained in an organized manner inside these four walls. My mood is still somewhat positive. It is getting late so I think I will leave well enough alone and sign off for now.
