Home Office - Why I am comfortable there

Published by debcook under Living Edit This

I am a news junkie. Most of my time in front of the television is while I am in my home office. Noise – especially talking - helps me focus on my tasks. Today has not been pleasant much like the last several days.

The financial news is horrendous. It is depressing and can bring you down. I may go to bed depressed but I always seem to wake up with renewed excitement of what the day could bring. Some days I am right – some days not so much.

What does my opinions on the economy have to do with my home office? It has everything to do with it. My husband teases me by saying “I may have to buy you a motor home so that you can always have your stuff with you”. He has a point.

I feel comfortable in a place where I am familiar. I know what I have, I know where it is and I can use it or I can leave it be. Organization gives me this comfort. Debt of any kind can get out of hand unless it is attended to regularly. Excuse me – I just had to file a few credit card receipts.

My mobile gadgets get recharged here too. My iPhone is happily getting juiced along with two of my Bluetooth headsets. No, before you ask, I do not wear them both at the same time. I saw that commercial and the woman did not resemble me.

Before I go to bed I will likely clean out my email. This is not an unusual thing for me to do. I have thought seriously about what I may be storing there at the moment. I do not have a Yahoo account but I don’t leave things to chance.
